Great weekend

(sorry this was supposed to be posted last week don t know what happened)
Wow its been over a week last time a wrote. Time is flying by so fast!!
So last friday i went to Guayaquil, arrived there around 7. Got picked up by Juan Karlos.. super nice guy (also dating one of the girls from Manta) I then went to his house, he has quite the nice house and his sisters are super nice. Then with all the family we went and did a tour of this city at night, wow quite the beautifull city. Oh i was about to forget hehhehehheh when i was on the bus entering the city i got like a reverse culture shock hehehheh i saw this huge mall and for me that was like a shock because in Manta there is only 2 malls and they are quite small. It was quite funny because i got used to the small city that when i saw a huge one i was amazed hehheheh. Back to the city tour.. Guayaquil center also quite nice and modern while the suburbs are quite poor!! Anyways we stopped and ate this flavoured yogurt. It was sooooooo good!! Then we went home because the next day i had to wake up a 5 am to go to Pallatanga were the mini conference was held.
Now about Pallatanga, i have never seen such a beautifull scenery, we were in this little camp site in the middle of the mountain and very close to the jungle. THe pictures should be online!! The conference was split in 2, one part was an introdution of aiesec for new members and the other was for older members were they just went around and visited the area. We went on 2 hikes, one in the forest, to c a beautifull waterfall and they other on a small river, both quite nice! Apart from that i spent the day at the pool dancing to random aiesec songs ( they have a whole bunch of songs that we do not have and a whole bunch of more embarassing games ). I also met 2 trainees from guayaquil, one from UK and the other from Australia, they are super cool and hilarious, so i spent most of the weekend chilling with them and speaking english ( that made me quite happy) also there was this random french guy that was there just as a tourist, also quite a funny guy!!
hahhahahha the funniest is that there was this member from aiesec that looked exaclty like my friend wael. ( Wael i met u re Ecadorian twin). Apart from that the weather was super nice during the day but at nice it was freezing cold as in something like 15C and we were sleeping in a tent. Yes yes i was frozen, i did not sleep much. We stayed there until sunday night and then we took a bus back to guayaquil. I thought i was going to sleep the whole way but i was wrong, they had music on the bus and people were cheering and dancing the whole way back. Hahhahahha it was quite entertaining.
The Monday i went to the aiesec office, they also have quite a big office, but the best part is that they do aiesec dances in the office hahahhahahha i found that soooo funny!!! I have a couple of pictures of me dancing!! I think we should implement this in our LC :D
Then i went and did a quick city tour but i will go back in a couple of weeks to do a thorough tour and see everything .
Then in the evening i went to pick up our new trainee from Macedonia, Vladimir, from the airport. He was travelling for more than 40 hours, man and i was complaining about 12 hours!!!
We then went back to Juan-K ´s house and slept, because the next day we had to wake up early to go to Manta because Vladimir had to work the next day!!
AH I forgot to say this. the bus are soo cheap and so confortable. It cost me 5$ to take the bus to Guayaquil and there is a lot of leg room, the seats are bigger and they lean back farther!! Amazing plus on the way there they played music and on the way back they showed a movie!! Yeah i was very much surprised!! Also an embarrassing moment , there is assigned seating on buses hahahhahah and i did not know that, so yeah i sat somewhere random and i took someone spot, then there was a huge confusion and i was so embarassed but when i started speaking spanish they understood that i was not from ecuador and they were really nice :D Hhehehheheheh.
Anyways when we arrived in Manta, the only person that was there was Jaime and as usual everyone else was late. We took Vladimir to Lili´s house and he got changed and off we went to Marbelize ( tuna making factory) for his first day of work ( even though not a lot of work was going to be done). There we met his boss and she told us to meet here between 4 and 4:30 at Vladimir´s new appartment ( paid for by the company) with his suitcase (he left his stuff at Lili´s house) Anyways i then went to the office and worked a little on exchange stuff and at 4 Jaime and I went to the Torres de Oro Verde ,were Vladimir´s apparment is. Anyways to cut the story short we waited 2 hours and a half from them!! Can you believe it!!! Man talk about being late!!! Ecuadorian standard time!!! All i do here is wait for ppl, they are rarely ever on time!!! Quite funny sometimes but others not soo much!!
So Vladimir´s appartment is one of the nicest appartment i have ever seen some under the age of 40 have. There are 5 bathroom for a 3 person appartment, huge big screen with cable tv, a beautifull view of the ocean (like 1 min walk to the beach), hot water (which is rare here in Manta) , walking distance to the clubs area, and a huge kitchen!!! Everything paid for by the company!!!
HAhahahahha can you believe it!! I told him if he needs a room mate i would live there no problem!!
Appart from that the rest of the week was spent working on matching TN´s , exchange work, and chillin with Vladimir at his place and the balcony!!!!
